Three Posts in a Row

what madness!!!!!!1!!!!!111!!!one!!!1!!111!!!

i just have a lot to say recently... sort of.

i just wanted to reflect on my first year of college life since i never actually did at the end of the year. thought i should do it now before second year really starts rolling.

i did... quite a lot, really.

i got involved in this quite spectacular church which really gives me so much hope for redefining (or, more accurately, rediscovering) what it means to be a Christian, living a true Christian life. and with this church, i've made honest, accepting friends who i know would stand by my side despite the short time we've known each other. with this church, i've experienced my first epic snowball battle and built my first snowman (read snow-zilla and snow-campanile), gone kayaking and got flipped off my kayak in the middle of a lake, and drove to SF in the middle of the night for mountains of ice cream. with this church, i've been challenged to reconsider my faith intellectually, not just emotionally, to truly and thoroughly understand and know what it means when i say that i'm a Christian and the implications of that in my daily life.

i've gone to more concerts this first year than i ever have before in my life (not counting harvest crusade). jason mraz, hillsongs, shane & shane, ucb orchestra (playing brahms second symphony btw)...

i saw the dalai lama speak in person!

i lived confidently - well, somewhat confidently - on my own without falling into desperate nostalgia.

i got a paid job on my own!

i met so many awesome new people!

i attempted to write a screenplay...

i chose a major - like in the first month or so of college.

i learned to drive - well, that was the summer right before college.

i've started to cook and go grocery shopping! and... pay bills... and tuition...

omg, this list is starting to make me feel old, i'm going to stop now.

and now for something completely random!

did you notice that in this post i did not capitalize "i" when referencing myself but in the previous post i did?
