Every Three Seconds

Geez, some people are such douche bags (ah forgive my language).

I was watching some of those ONE Campaign videos on Youtube (they're so creatively made) and some of the comments were absolutely idiotic, spouting how the campaign just wants to take all of your money or how all those actors should give all their money instead since they're rich and we're not. Someone even posted up another video totally criticizing the campaign.

Okay, understood. So ONE isn't probably the most purest of organizations. Of course, there will be controversy. There are probably lots of other ways to stop poverty. But you know what?

At least they're TRYING. They're not sitting around on their asses all day, making stupid videos and commenting on Youtube. I bet if any of those people were rich, they wouldn't do anything anyway. It's not the money that matters, morons, it's the collective effort of Americans who have so much to be thankful for. At least you have a damn computer to look at Youtube videos, the chance to have and voice your opinion (thinking that you're so smart to make such enlightened observations), to sit unconcerned about anyone else but yourself.

Fine, you don't agree with the ONE Campaign; you don't like how they executed their goal. But don't criticize their honest efforts. When was the last time you tried to be a productive and helpful member of society? You consume and consume, then make fun of those who try, even in the littlest bit, to make a difference.
