Snowboarding was:
1st hour or so: Agonizing 90%, Fun 10%
3rd hour or so: Agonizing 70%, Fun 30%
5th hour or so: Agonizing 85%, Fun 15%
7th hour or so: Agonizing 35%, FUN 65%
Last hour: Agonizing 10%, FUN 90%
Mistress Snow was stubborn. I still carry wounds, aches, and bruises from our encounter. The battle raged, fierce and cold. But in the end, I found that snowboarding is fun! And Miss Snow did not beat me up as much.
Other points:
- Had lots of fun with people!
- New glasses, new hair-cut, a new pair of shoes
- FREAKING LOST MY WALLET!!! which included my:
- my CAL id
- my Driver's License
- my debit card
- my credit card
- my med insurance card
- my checkbook
- my Border's card
- 60 dollars
- the wallet itself was new, a birthday present...
- thus, I had to go through tons of red tape at the airport. Horrid, absolutely horrid.
And now winter break ends.
Here's to a new year, a new chance, a new day.
Here's to a year full of opportunities for change, for good times, for joys and laughs.
For bad times, for sorrows and tears.
Here's to whatever comes.
May we face it with all the courage we can muster;
Let us tackle it with all the strength we can summon.
I pray for guidance, for focus, for direction, for wisdom.
I pray for boldness and determination, drive and motivation, for resolve and action.
Thank you.
Thank you for last year.
Thank you for now.
Thank you for all that comes.
Amen. Amen.
Amen.
